Hello and welcome to the Booker 2009 Regionals Gliding Competition home page. The results links will appear on the right as each day's results are calculated.

News
19/07/09 - The day was scrubbed and the prize
giving was held at 13:00. Congratulation to this year's winner Jon
Gatfield. Second place went to Denis Campbell and third was Jim
White. Photos and further details can be found on the

18/07/09
- Multi-barrel 3-hour AAT was flown -
Booker Bridge (BOB) - Ilsley (ILS/10km) - Bozeat (BOZ/25km) - Bicester (BIC/10km)
- Booker SW (BO1) - Booker Finish (BF1). This gave a range of
136.0km/334.1km (214.1km). Twelve finishers, provisional results
on the right (and left).
17/07/09 - Scrubbed.
16/07/09 - 141.5km 'A' task
flown with ten finishers. Results on the right (and the left!).
15/07/09 - We tasked,
retasked and then scrubbed due to the strong, gusty winds, increasing
spreadout and growing showers in the area.
14/07/09 - We flew the 'A' task today. Details and provisional result in the right-hand pane. Probably easiest to right-click on the link and choose 'open new window'.
13/07/09 - Those following activity on the blog will see that we had set a small task and then later scrubbed as conditions didn't improve.
12/07/09 - First competition day with six finishers on a 2 1/2 hour AAT. Details can be found via the scoring links on the right. Other background information can be seen on the Booker Blog which is being regularly updated.
11/07/09 - Registration of entrants is complete and the briefing was held at 10:30. Early decision was made to scrub due to the poor weather which wasn't forecast to improve.
