The following pictures were taken on the weekend of the 28-29  June 08
 
This weekend was meant to be a rally for the vintage gliders, but it turned out to be far too windy for all but two gliders - see below.

Due to the strong winds only two of the vintage gliders were rigged. One was the Lunak shown above, the other was the Jaskolka.
   
This is a Polish Jaskolka glider, made by SZD. It was designed about 1950-51 and amazingly has some glass fibre mouldings for the fuselage to wing curved bits although most of the structure is wood.

It must have been one of the highest performance gliders in its day.
